Is there a guarantee of profit?

No. Sports betting involves inherent risk and variance. While Anterly provides tools to identify mathematical edges, past performance (even in backtests) does not guarantee future results. Users should always practice responsible bankroll management.

Does Anterly accept bets?

No. Anterly is an analytics tool, not a sportsbook. You use Anterly to analyze and gain value betting opportunities, whether or where you choose to bet is entirely up to you.

How does Anterly find value bets?

Anterly automates a complex data pipeline to find edges in the market:

1. Data Aggregation: It collects odds, statistics, and variables from dozens of trusted sources.
2. Modeling: Proprietary models (including Team Strength ELO) crunch the numbers to estimate the true win probability of a match.
3. Edge Detection: The system compares its true probability against bookmaker odds. If the market is "off" (offering better odds than it should), the bet is flagged as a Value Pick for Users.

What unique factors does the model consider?

Beyond standard stats, Anterly’s models incorporate nuance that many bettors miss:

• Weather Forecasts: Smart adjustments for how weather conditions impact gameplay.
• Travel Impact: Calculations for fatigue and travel distance which directly influence performance in the match.
• Team Strength: A proprietary ELO model to spot undervalued teams.
• VO₂ Impact (Oxygen Stress): advanced physiological modeling that accounts for altitude and oxygen availability at stadiums. High-altitude venues (such as stadiums in South America or Mexico) reduce oxygen availability, causing increased respiratory stress and decreased aerobic performance. This affects player stamina, sprint capability, and match intensity — factors that significantly influence goal-scoring patterns and match outcomes that bookmakers often undervalue.

What is the "Value Lab"?

The Value Lab is a historical backtesting tool available to all Users. It allows you to:

• Test your betting strategies against historical data (Jan 2018 – Present).
• Customize filters like odds range, leagues, and money management rules.
• Analyze risk metrics like variance and drawdown to see how a strategy would have performed in the past.

Why has the recent performance (2025) been flat compared to previous years?

In high-variance environments like sports betting, long periods of drawdown or breakeven are mathematically expected, even with a winning strategy. We prioritize creating models with true generalization — meaning they are designed to predict future outcomes reliably — rather than overfitting a model to perfectly match past data. While an overfit model might look impressive on a historical chart, it often fails in real-time. Our goal is long-term sustainability, not short-term "lucky streaks."

Why does the historical data (pre-2025) show a higher ROI than the current results?

The difference is primarily due to the timing of the odds used in our analysis.

• Pre-2025 Data: Uses odds snapshots taken 1–2 days before kickoff. These markets are "softer" and easier to beat.

• Current Data (2025+): Uses closing odds (just before the match starts). As kickoff approaches, markets become "sharper" and much harder to beat as bookmakers adjust to the true probabilities.

Is Anterly available worldwide?

Generally, yes. However, access is restricted in certain jurisdictions due to sanctions and regulations.

• Restricted Countries: Access is strictly prohibited in countries subject to OFAC/EU sanctions, including but not limited to Russia, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, and Venezuela.

Can I use a VPN to access Anterly from a restricted region?

No. Using a VPN to circumvent geographic restrictions is a violation of our Terms of Service.

Frequently asked by Users

Why does the time of value bet alert matter?

The initially announced odds by bookmakers have the highest chance to be mispriced.

So in other words, if you see the value bet a few days before a match, you have the biggest edge over the market. Unlike right before the match, when odds are more likely to be adjusted to reduce the edge. This is why our plans for Users are differentiated by the time ahead of the game.

Does it matter when I place my bets?

Yes, significantly. The market is most inefficient (offering the best value) 24–72 hours before kickoff. As the match approaches, the "smart money" corrects the odds, removing much of the value.

This is why our Premium plans provide access to picks even more than 3 days in advance — allowing you to capture that "early bird" value before the market corrects. Using Anterly to bet on closing lines is much more difficult than betting early.

Do you plan to add markets beyond "Match Winner"?

Yes. We are actively engineering models for BTTS (Both Teams to Score) and Over/Under markets (Goals, Cards, Corners). Adding these markets will allow users to spot more value and diversify their portfolio, which is the most effective way to smooth out the equity curve and reduce the impact of variance during difficult periods.
